OEE and downtime visibility across lines and plants

Many plants still run performance meetings with manual exports and Excel. SmartFactory brings the same rhythm into a digital, repeatable cockpit that is ready at the start of every shift.

What it feels like today

  • OEE reports are built based on manual exports.
  • Focus on yesterday and not on the current bottlenecks.
  • Root causes are opinions as stop history and loss logic are not consistent.

What changes with SmartFactory

  • Single line overview for OEE, downtime, and speed loss.
  • Standardized stop reasons for lines and real comparisons.
  • Faster follow up routines for improvements.

How it works

From sensor signals to daily action

SmartFactory runs on Titan, so OEE logic and loss definitions are consistent across dashboards and Ask Titan answers.

1. Connect

Read only connections to MES, SCADA, PLC signals, quality systems, and ERP production orders. Start with one line and expand.

2. Monitor

A single overview of OEE, downtime, speed loss, and main bottlenecks per line, shift, and product group.

3. Act

Focus on the biggest losses, align stop reasons, and run the same daily routines across teams and plants.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers for production, engineering, and IT.

Does SmartFactory replace our MES or SCADA?

No. SmartFactory does not replace your operational control systems. It uses data from MES, SCADA, PLC and other machine sources and builds a consistent analytics and AI layer on Titan.

How long does it take to connect a line?

For a line with existing data access, a first SmartFactory view is often possible within a few weeks. If signals come directly from PLC or sensors, we start with a short technical discovery to confirm scope.

Can SmartFactory handle several plants and countries?

Yes. SmartFactory uses a standard model for OEE and downtime, which makes it suitable for multi plant setups. We can handle different machines and local systems while keeping a comparable view at group level.

Do we need Ask Titan to use SmartFactory?

No. You can start with dashboards only. Many customers add Ask Titan so more people can ask questions about lines and shifts in Microsoft Teams, with clear explanations behind each answer.

Which reporting tools do you support?

We focus on Power BI for dashboards and Microsoft Teams for Ask Titan. The underlying Titan data model can also support other tools when needed in your IT landscape.
