How it works

Azure Databricks lakehouse foundation

Three layers, one foundation. Ingest ERP, MES and factory data, govern definitions, and deliver trusted dashboards and AI answers.

What is included

A managed foundation you can roll out plant by plant

You get the reference architecture, standard models, KPI definitions and operational setup. Built to keep dashboards and Ask Titan answers aligned, without building and maintaining the full stack yourself.

What is included

Reference architecture

A proven blueprint for ingestion, Azure Databricks lakehouse, governance, semantic models and consumption.

Standard data models

Manufacturing, inventory, orders and production events, designed for reuse and plant rollout.

Semantic layer and definitions

Shared KPI definitions so Power BI numbers and Ask Titan answers stay consistent.

CI/CD and environment separation

Dev, test and prod separation with controlled releases, aligned to your standards where applicable.

Monitoring and alerting

Pipeline health, data freshness and failures surfaced early, with clear ownership and response.

Documentation and runbooks

Documentation of models and flows, plus operational runbooks for support and continuity.

Security and governance

Security and governance by design

Built for controlled manufacturing data. Clear access rules, auditable usage, and a security baseline in Azure.

ISO 27001 operating model

Controls, documentation and operational routines aligned with an ISO 27001 certified way of working.

Least privilege access

Azure AD based access, role separation between producers and consumers, and permissions per domain, plant or team.

Encryption in transit and at rest

Transport is secured with TLS. Stored data is encrypted at rest, aligned with Azure standards and your policies.

Note: exact controls depend on your tenant standards and risk profile, but the pattern stays consistent.

Solutions for every department

Start with one KPI. Scale when it works.

Start where pain is highest. Deliver one clear KPI fast. Then scale across teams and plants.

Why a managed platform

You focus on decisions. We keep the foundation running.

Titan is a managed foundation: architecture, models, definitions and operations as one service.

For business teams

Less time on data work

Planning, production and finance teams get trusted insights and answers without chasing exports, filters and definitions.

For IT and data

A platform you can support

Clear separation of responsibilities, documented models, and an operational setup built for changes and releases.

For management

Step by step rollout plan

Prove value with one plant and one KPI, then scale with the same architecture and standard building blocks.

For AI readiness

Ask Titan on governed data

Ask Titan uses the same governed models as Power BI, so answers match numbers and adoption grows faster.

How to start

Start with one plant and one use case

You do not need a multi year program. Start with one source and one model. Get live insights plus Ask Titan answers fast.

5 days

PoC with your data

Connect one source. Build one model. Show Power BI and Ask Titan results.

  • One KPI. One use case.
  • Dashboard plus Ask Titan.
  • Next steps and rollout.

Frequently asked questions about Titan

Short, practical answers. If you want to go deeper, book a meeting and we will map your current landscape together.

Does Titan replace our ERP, MES, or WMS?

No. Titan does not replace operational systems. It connects sources like ERP, MES, SCADA and WMS into a governed analytics and AI layer, while your operational systems remain the system of record.

What is typically included in the Titan foundation?

A reference architecture, ingestion patterns, standard models, a semantic layer for KPI definitions, monitoring and alerting, and operational runbooks. The goal is a stable foundation, not a one-off dashboard project.

Which systems do you usually connect first?

Often ERP plus one operational source that is critical for the first decision, for example WMS for stock, planning for service risk, or MES signals for factory performance.

How do you keep KPI definitions consistent across plants and teams?

We define KPIs once in a governed semantic layer, validate them with business owners, and version changes. Dashboards and Ask Titan then consume the same definitions.

Can Titan work with Power BI and other tools?

Yes. Titan is designed to serve governed datasets to tools like Power BI. The platform focuses on consistency, refresh, access control, and documentation behind the visuals.

Where does Titan run, and who manages it?

Titan runs on Microsoft Azure, typically in your tenant or a dedicated tenant. Food For Analytics can manage operations, monitoring, and releases in cooperation with your IT and security teams.

How long does it take to see first results?

With a focused scope, teams typically see a first validated output within weeks. The key is picking one decision flow and confirming access to the minimum data needed.

Is Titan built on Azure Databricks?

Yes. Titan is built on Microsoft Azure with an Azure Databricks lakehouse foundation. We use it to standardize ingestion, data models and governed KPI logic so Power BI and Ask Titan use the same definitions.

Ready to use Titan with your data?

Bring one use case, one plant and one team. We map definitions, connect sources, and show value quickly.
