2

Ask questions in MS Teams

Planners and managers ask plain English questions about orders, stock, capacity, service level or margin.

3

Get explainable answers

Frequently asked questions about Ask Titan

Clear answers about how Ask Titan works in Microsoft Teams and how you keep results governed.

Does Ask Titan use the public internet to answer questions?

No. Ask Titan answers based on your governed Titan data and your definitions. It is designed for grounded internal answers, not generic public internet responses.

How do users know why an answer is correct?

Ask Titan can show explanations such as which definitions were used, how a KPI was calculated, and which filters or time windows applied. This makes the result easier to validate and trust.

How is access controlled?

Access follows your rules. Users only see what they are allowed to see, aligned with the same role-based access used for governed reporting.

Is Ask Titan read-only?

By default, yes. Most customers start with read-only answers and explanations. If you later want workflows, that should be designed explicitly with auditability and permissions.

Do we need Titan first?

Ask Titan works best on top of a governed Titan foundation. If definitions and access rules are not stabilized yet, we usually start by creating the minimum Titan model needed for one decision.

How long does a pilot take?

A pilot can be run in weeks if we keep scope tight: one decision flow, a limited dataset, and a small group of users to validate questions and answers.

Can this work for multiple roles like planning, operations, and finance?

Yes. The key is that each role gets answers on the same underlying definitions. That reduces discussions about whose spreadsheet is correct and shifts the focus to decisions.
